GET INVOLVED
Here is an opportunity to do something that will
Impact The Community!
Help us make a difference
There are many ways to volunteer,
from walking door to door to hosting fundraising events.
Here are ways you can help:
HOST A
HOUSE PARTY
Hosting is the First Step
Just hosting the party is a big first step to start getting involved. It’s just a stepping stone to more action and communication on how to resist the current administration and start working towards a better future. A small step like a house party can set in motion the establishment of a network of individuals who can fight for a better future for years to come.
Hosting a party is at the same time a small and huge step. It is a simple act to send out an invite and have a number of my friends at my house on a Sunday afternoon. But it is also a huge symbolic step to getting people involved and helping others get involved. This party may not start a revolution, but it will contribute to a bigger movement.
Speaking Up is Important
Posting on Facebook and Twitter and Instagram that you are taking this action and working towards the goal of a majority of Democrats in the House inspires others to take the same action. It’s not as scary, it’s not as strange when you see others do it publicly. It only take one person reaching out to another person to affect change. One vote at a time and the Democrats can change this country. Speaking up about volunteering and involvement isn’t proselytizing or bragging, but opening up to start a dialogue and bring other people in.
